Kraken Chess

Kraken Chess is a semi-cooperative variant of the classic strategy game of Chess. You start with a Kraken on the board, and neither player can win until the Kraken is dead.

In this game, you will need:

• A chess set
• Either an eight-sided die or a deck of cards
• A Kraken
• Some way to track Kraken health

This game is in playtesting right now, and I currently have a text-only version available. I'm still working out some edge cases in the rules, and I'd welcome feedback from anyone who plays. Once I'm satisfied with the ruleset, I'll put out a prettier version.
